Copiapo was a newborn in the quarantine for export from Chile when his mother died.  He had a very tough time, but eventually he made it to Montana.  Now he is siring some great babies for us and for the deBooms in Iowa.  We only have him for a few months during the summer, but we plan to use him as a sire in our embryo transfer program this year.  His babies are well-conformed and colorful.
